Through a blend of creative and abstract visuals and verité footage, Tales of Transformation, is an experimental art piece that will explore the question of whether or not deciphering art made from the discards of our technology can prevent humans from becoming irrelevant in the fast-approaching Age of Singularity.

The pilot called The Electronic Alchemist represents the blueprint of the project. The episode includes prototypes of the special effects, cinematographic style, and storytelling form that will need to be created for each episode. Although the pilot (20 minutes in length) does not include interviews with thematic experts, it can stand alone as a “preview” to the overall series. 

The first season of the series, titled Quest for Genesis, will establish the human civilization and what led to its destruction. In this season, the narrative of the cyborg space travelers will focus on their quest to find out their origin.

The second season of the series, titled Yearning for Balance, will focus on the intent of the cyborg space travelers to become human – but not until they have gained a greater understanding on how they can achieve the right balance between humanity, technology, and the planet.
